If you are familiar with my crafting, you know that I am first and foremost a scrapbooker. So – what do I do with a cardmaking kit?? I create a 12×12 layout, of course!! 🙂 When I opened up our Christmas card and saw these photos – I COULD NOT resist. How perfect are they?? I am IN LOVE with these kids and this kit.

Here is a page kit I created with the soon-to-be-retiring Sparkle & Shine paper pack. I love how the ornaments (cut with Art Philosophy) really give these pages a festive feel! The baker’s twine is reminiscent of candy canes and the title is simply perfect (cut with Artbooking). Now, all I need are photos!

Seriously? It’s not even Thanksgiving and the kids are home from school because of ICE! I have lived in Michigan most of my life, but I am totally not ready for this weather! So, as I look out my window and see my pumpkins covered in snow, I know that this is the perfect time to show you my Frosted Workshop on the Go pages! 🙂 Fun and elegant, these pages are sure to put you in the winter spirit. The last layout even features a touch of pink to bring out those rosy cheeks….
Wow – so I think I’m finally recovered from being sick for a week and hosting a weekend crop! For sure, I am blessed to scrap with some of the most FABULOUS women in the world. My girls let me slide on my crop duties and go to bed early. Hard to lead classes when you can barely talk!
Simple scrapbooking is sooooo necessary in the world of crafting – not every page has to be a work of art! I have people comment all the time about how they could never scrap like I do because they aren’t creative enough or they just don’t know how to put everything together. So – let me show you some simple pages that I completed at a weekend crop (hosted by fabulous consultant Rebecca Cross) using pictures and supplies that I purchased in 2006/2007 (GASP!). I don’t scrap in chronological order (double GASP!) – I am just too flighty to be confined by dates. I do collect coordinating papers, embellishments, photos, and memorabilia and put them in 12×12 clear bags to be ready to scrap when the feeling strikes. Super easy and efficient!
Wow – it’s NOVEMBER!!! How did that happen?? I’m super excited about it, but it also means that time is a-flying! So, since we are all just going to be getting busier and busier, I am going to share the rest of my Workshop on the Go kits with you this month. First stop – SARITA!!! 🙂
